FROM OUR LAST CHARITY EVENT
On Behalf of Essex Cancer Research we would like to offer a very warm welcome to the Boatyard for this year’s Annual Black Tie Charity Event.
We very much look forward to you all enjoying a fun filled evening of games, laughter and entertainment with the aim of raising as much as possible for the two very worthwhile causes that we have chosen for tonight’s event.
This evening will be a great opportunity to win some fantastic prizes that have been kindly donated by individuals and company’s mentioned later within this brochure.
We would like to thank all of you that have donated for advertising space and for the gifts and prizes that will be auctioned during tonight’s event, but mostly we would like to thank you for being here in attendance as it really means a great deal to all.
As some of you may know from the invitations sent out prior, tonight’s event is also held in loving memory of Tracey Cooper who we sadly lost this year to Cervical Cancer. I’m sure many of you may have known or worked with Tracey during her time at OCL Rail and we are sure you will all join us by enjoying this event in the fashion that Tracey would have by making the most of life and having a good old jolly up and dance.
We sincerely hope you enjoy the great entertainment we have in store for you and to kindly give your time when it’s required, to listen when the representatives are giving their speeches for the respected charities. We hope you enjoy the food prepared by the Boatyard Restaurant along with the music played by the great artists we have lined up for you and Johnny Gould’s unique style of auctioneering.
Tonight is about raising awareness and funds but is also about having a good time and enjoying yourselves therefore we thank you sincerely for being here and for your support tonight.
